Newsletter signups

When you subscribe to Notes from the Desert, Desert Winds Counseling collects your email address and the signup source, such as the homepage or an event link. We use this information only to send the newsletter, requested resources, and related Desert Winds communications.

Service providers

Desert Winds Counseling keeps private subscriber and delivery records in Supabase. Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) delivers newsletter emails. These services process information on our behalf to operate the newsletter.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe at any time by following the secure link included in an email. We retain a minimal suppression record so that an address that has opted out is not accidentally re-added to future sends.

Not clinical communication

Newsletter content is educational. Subscribing does not create a therapist-client relationship, and the newsletter form is not a secure place to share symptoms, diagnoses, treatment information, or other sensitive clinical details. Please use the contact page for general practice inquiries.
